  • ENGLISH IDIOMS: Twitter account where a new idiom is posted every day together with an brief explanation in English, examples and a photo. 
  • ENGLISH IDIOMS: It is a video from a personal YouTube channel where you can learn 25 idioms to sound like a native speaker. 
  • ENGLISH IDIOMS QUIZ: It is a video from a personal YouTube channel to test your knowledge of idioms. It is advanced level. The YouTuber will give you feedback if you leave a comment saying where you made a mistake. 
  • ENGLISH PROVERBS: It is a video from a personal YouTube channel where you can learn  7 proverbs that native speakers use on a daily basis. You will also get an explanation for each of them.
  • ENGLISH PROVERBS: It is a blog about English culture and the English language where you can find a very interesting post with 50 proverbs in English, a picture to illustrate the idea and a good explanation. 
  • ENGLISH IDIOMS AND PROVERBS: It is a website where language classes are offered with a post about some English idioms and proverbs. 
  • ENGLISH IDIOMS AND PROVERBS QUIZ: It is a website where you can test your knowledge of idioms and proverbs. At the end of the test, you will see the right and wrong answers so that you can correct them and learn them properly.  
  • ENGLISH PROVERBS: It is a video from a personal YouTube channel with an excellent explanation about 10 proverbs you can use to have a great conversation in English. 
  • CAMBRIDGE DICTIONARY: It is a reliable online dictionary where you can look up words, translate sentences and have a look at grammar points. There is a section called Cambridge Dictionary Plus where you can learn new words, download free quizzes and word lists as well as improving your grammar. Here you can look up idioms and proverbs and get a definition in English with examples.
  • OXFORD LEARNER'S DICTIONARIES: It is another reliable online dictionary where you can look up idioms and proverbs to know the meaning in English and see the expression in an example sp that you know how to use it. You can also learn similar expressions that appear on the same page containing the same main word you used. There are word lists and grammar points if you want to practise something in particular. You can check the pronunciation and the synonyms of a word.
  • LINGUEE: It is an online translation memory where you can look up words and expressions. You will see the equivalent in Spanish with examples in both languages. You can also compare the translation in both languages with pieces of real texts and you can see the source. For instance, sometimes some of them are from the European Union or the UN, which are reliable sources. Comparing both texts enables you to see the word in context. You can also check the pronunciation of a word.
  • WORDREFERENCE: It is an online dictionary where you can look up words and expressions. Many idioms and proverbs can be found here, but not all of them. The good thing about this dictionary is that you can check the pronunciation of a word in different accents: US, UK, UK-RP, IRISH, SCOTTISH, US SOUTHERN and JAMAICAN. There are English definitions and synonyms too.
  • COLLINS DICTIONARY: It is another reliable online dictionary where you can look up a word and have information about whether a noun is countable, uncountable, you can see examples in the singular, and the plural forms and at the end of the page, there are fixed expressions, idioms, collocations with the word.  It has different sections: grammar section, blog, scrabble, school, thesaurus, translator, quiz among other resources.
  • REVERSO: It is an online dictionary where you can find a wide range of expressions and words as well as translating full sentences or even small texts. It is useful to check the Spanish translation of some idioms or proverbs that you learn.
